Participation alternatives
Organizers can recruit friends, referrals, open-call respondents, selected strangers, mixed groups. They can invite depositors, guests of depositors, independent visitors, a composed group around a question. Each route affects familiarity, available knowledge, willingness to contribute, selection effects.
Depositors may protect an established account during Unpacking. Independent visitors may supply unfamiliar associations. Mixed groups permit direct response while introducing the effect of identity and status. Staff record the route and actual prior relationships before comparing outcomes.
The complete configuration can use several routes over time. Organizers still need a stated reason for a particular invitation and a review of recurring selection. Recruitment, arrangement, city access develop the choices. The participant's permitted role during an event can differ from their relationship as a depositor.
