Vestibule

A vestibule provides a transition before entry, between activities, before departure. Hosts can offer a selected object, letter, private choice, possible invitation in a quieter interval. The visitor's relation to the institution can change through an explicit decision.

A departing guest may review a proposed reply without discussing it in the group. A returning participant may encounter a question from an earlier visit. Staff can explain participation or record a permission change. The interval needs enough time and practical privacy for the offered activity.

The earlier Waiting Room work examined bounded waiting and contextual behavior. The current institution adapts those operations to specific domestic and relational purposes. Disclosure, returns, continuity identify the relevant decisions. The threshold can remain an ordinary entrance when a separate authored interval would add little.
