Environmental observation

Staff can record light, temperature, sound, occupancy, other relevant venue conditions during selected events. They use this material to interpret opportunity, comfort, device performance, differences among occasions.

A reader may leave a poorly lit place, move toward a warmer room, pause because conversation is difficult to hear. A camera-based reconstruction may fail during changed lighting. Staff compare those conditions before attributing a pattern to personal interest. The environmental record has its own measurement method and precision.

The inquiry need not collect every available signal. Researchers identify context relevant to a stated comparison and examine whether it changes the account. Spatial design, opportunity, added-observation research explain that decision. Staff can retain selected environmental summaries separately from personal session material when their purposes and permissions differ.
