Local interest clusters
Staff or software group related contributions while preserving their specific sources. A group may concern a practice, influence, unresolved question, material family, shared experience. The participant can have several such regions with different histories and current relevance.
The camera-related material may include repair, portrait-making, family memory. Staff can distinguish these concerns while examining their connections. A later book annotation may connect only to the family-memory region. A curator can then propose a particular conversation instead of relying on a broad photography category.
The grouping method and label remain attributable. Staff can review a proposed cluster with the participant, revise membership, compare across visits. Representations, matching, longitudinal inquiry use these local relations. The record retains gaps in available contributions so silence in an area receives appropriate context.
