Authored encounter

Staff offer a situation for participants to consider: examine an object, repair equipment, compare accounts, cook, read, visit a place, make a photograph, join a small group. They explain a particular reason while leaving participants able to revise or end the activity.

The camera's custodian and a visitor can inspect the modification at a workbench. They may identify a function, discover another question, disagree about restoration. A later offer can follow only under the actual participation choices. An emotional disclosure or sustained relationship remains a possible consequence rather than the required performance.

Casting selects the configuration, scene design prepares conditions, event documentation distinguishes intention from result. Researchers ask participants about usefulness and follow agreed consequences. A shared task can matter through its practical outcome even if the people pursue separate lives afterward.
