Revisable accounts of a person

Staff compose a working account from particular questions, references, object relations, interpretations, demonstrated skills, repeated activities. They preserve the context and allow revision as further encounters occur. A participant can review the account or choose a narrower scope of continuity.

Instead of reducing an inherited-camera encounter to a broad trait, staff retain the contributed family account, the practical action, the participant's later correction. A curator can use the specific restoration question while considering correspondence. Another setting may reveal unrelated interests or a changed preference.

Authored profiles can support reflection or encounter design. Their usefulness requires examining the proposed use, source relevance, participant response, later consequences. Selected continuity, challenge, withdrawal let people alter the institution's current use of their contributions. Researchers examine the resulting account as a partial representation within the project.
