Object as an address
A persistent object reference provides a route into selected information and possible operations. Staff determine the material visible to a public visitor, custodian, correspondent, researcher, operator under current permissions. The address remains associated with the particular possession through changing states.
A public label can open a selected description and question. A private credential can expose custody details or an invitation. A researcher can access an agreed dataset with different attribution. Physical access to a possession and permission to inspect associated information receive separate decisions.
The interface can use a printed reference, identification tag, phone, staff assistance. Identifiers, identity, conversation explain the operation. A traveling possession can retain its selected history if staff maintain access and continuity outside the house.
