Object-indexed identity
Staff can organize durable references around possessions and particular relations to them. The camera has a public identifier. Its owner has private custody information. A visitor contributes through a session or participant reference. A proposed reply uses the relevant permission to connect selected accounts.
The design separates material identity, legal custody identity, pseudonymous continuity, temporary session association, relationship to an object, permission to disclose a connection. These references can have different access and retention. A participant can use an object-specific reference while choosing a broader institutional history for other purposes.
A visitor can answer the camera's question without immediately exposing a civil identity to the custodian. Staff can offer further information before either party accepts contact. Identification risk remains relevant because a distinctive possession or repeated activity may reveal a person. Continuity alternatives compare session-only, object-specific, recurring arrangements.
