Event history
Staff record an event as a specified change or contribution during an interval. They identify the relevant possession, activity, participants under the selected references, time, place, evidence, permission, material before and after, attributed accounts.
An entry can describe a camera being operated during a hosted session. A separate entry can describe a visitor contributing an explanation. Another records a custodian authorizing a reply. The entries can refer to each other without merging their different claims. Staff preserve the basis of a proposed event and its review status.
Corrections and withdrawal require deliberate handling. A mistaken association can be revised. Sensitive attribution can be removed under the relevant procedure while a permitted object event persists. Revision, withdrawal, attribution explain these operations. A durable event history therefore requires more than appending every inference indefinitely.
