Revision and reprocessing
Staff revise a record after a factual correction, new evidence, participant response, changed permission, detected association error. They identify the affected statements and derived uses, update current presentation, retain a permitted account of relevant earlier versions.
A corrected camera history can affect a public description, a semantic representation, a proposed invitation. Software needs to locate those dependent records. A permission change may require withdrawing a source and its derivatives from further use. Staff examine already delivered material separately because an earlier recipient may retain their own copy or memory.
Reprocessing can apply another method to still-permitted records while distinguishing the new interpretation from the earlier result. History, evidence, withdrawal support the review. The institution needs practical procedures for locating dependencies, explaining changes, checking completion.
